Just finished one of these yesterday - original nice MS9 chassis with a brand new Orion grade A curved tube mounted in the sega MS9 frame
Notes - tube curve is very slightly less than the tosh tubes - if you are using on a Candy etc then there will be a few mm gap between the bezel and the glass at the mid point of the x and y axis - barely noticeable but if it is an issue you can use black foam mounting tape to make the seal
geom v nice - little wobble at the 1/4 way down on the left and right edges but not noticeable if you set the width to 1-2 pixels over the edge - I have all of the photos for this so mail me at sales@digitalsystemsdesign.co.uk this is a very nice monitor and vibrant/crisp as you would expect the MS9 to be but with a brand new tube - convergence is better than it was with the original Tosh tube which was burned out - again can be seen on the pics which are ready to mail out
Price £295 plus shipping if required but feel free to collect from Teesside or Northallerton areas

Hi there
OK the monitors that I have here are ready to drop into a New Astro City or Astro City – there is no adjustment or changes to be made apart from the little gap
I don’t have any fitted in cabinets here at the moment but I have a pic from an older one that was sold so I will attach that for you to the email
Shipping rates are currently £69+VAT with TNT which works out at £82.80
I can get it cheaper with fedex at £69 but……. Nobody will insure monitors in transit as they are glass and fragile so we have to pack them extremely well
With Fedex I cannot put the monitor on a pallet, but the guys at TNT will allow me to use a pallet and that way it gets shipped without being dropped or mishandled – so I would recommend TNT
I will also disconnect the neckboard so that any shock movement will not snap the tube neck – I have learned this over a long period of time and I would recommend TNT with the neck board removed – it is very easy to fit and takes about 5 seconds – I will also fit a neck connector plug to the tube which will protect the neck pins just in case anything happens also
I have one tri sync monitor ready to ship now if you need it
Regards

Yeah it is, picture is very nice, crisp and sharp. This is a cps2 cross hatch...what you think??
Not bad at all, the ocd in me would tweak it a bit but I doubt you'd see it in game.
Hi there
OK – just to be clear
The NEW Tri synch monitors are as follows:
New Orion Grade A tube – highest quality – fitted with an MS-9 deflection yoke – then has a NEW CH-666A-29 chassis from Rodotron – same as pentranic and wei-ya use
Option B – New Orion Grade A tube with used MS-9-29 deflection yoke and chassis – price for that is £245 which will save you some money but does not give you the option for Naomi and Atomiswave
These are the only new tubes at 29” on the planet so this is the last of them – the only other 29” tubes you can possibly find is pure flat and they will not fit sadly
